  Hey, Cyprus… Let’s go back to basics!

  Can we have a common-sense explanation of why eurozone finance gone mad threatens to kill the otherwise healthy real economies of European Nations?

  Much is being said about the Euro crisis exploding today in Cyprus which – like its recent Greek, Irish, Spanish, Portuguese and Italian versions – continues to fester like a malignant tumor in the body politic and economy of the European Union.

  Economics: an exact science or a branch of psychology?

  When times are stable and predictable, economics is treated like a science by bankers, academics, journalists and politicians aligned to the money-power elite.

  All economic and social woes are explained away as resulting from the “laws of the economy” et le “invisible hand of the market”.  Economists’ theorizing mumbo-jumbo never tells you is that the “invisible hand” is moved by a muscular “arm” that is directed by a perverse brain…

  They try to convince us that it’s “normal” for markets, sectors and entire countries to go up, down, sideways, even dive into mega-collapses.

  Such economic nonsense is normally signed by Harvard, LSE or Chicago University eggheads, suitably prestiged with Economics Nobel Prizes, and lavishly promoted by the mainstream specialized media like the Wall Street Journal and Financial Times.

  cependant, as soon as the economic weather turns foul and the waves of currency instability, winds of banking crises and tornados of panic start rocking the boats of national and regional economies, that’s when the “science of economics” takes a really bad turn and.. it’s every many for himself!  Or… every banker gets “government” to bail them out…

  In economics what counts is Confidence and Trust, either real or perceived. That’s why banks’ head offices tend to look like veritable fortresses or gigantic skyscrapers, often with imposing temple-like columns, giant staircases and forbidding iron-clad gates.  The idea was clear: when you enter a bank, you enter the Temple of Mammon.  Financial Olympuses like the FED, Bank of England, and most every central bank beckon you to “trust” them, just as you trust your God when you enter Church; to have “confidence” in them for, like the Almighty, bankers want to make you believe that they too reign for ever and ever…

  mais, alas, as Peter Young writing on RT Op-Edge on Cyprus clearly explains, "confidence remains a rather intangible item. Measuring trust is rather a black art. We can never be absolutely certain we have 100% trust”.

  En effet!  Trust is like virginity: once it’s gone, IT’S GONE.  So when trust turns sour regarding a particular bank, or rumors arise of impending monetary collapse, or some major corporation is about to be “AIG’ed” out of existence, Ensuite, “trust and confidence” turn into bank-runs, panic and deadly collapse.

  What Cyprus 2013 shows is that, like Argentina 2001, “trust and confidence” have little or nothing to do with reality especially when passed through the mainstream media’s ‘Lies Machine’ Pour, like all perceptions, they can be manipulated to fool, confound, hide ugly truths and distort.

  When things start going really bad, fraudulent lies are maintained for as long as possible to give those who DO know the truth, the chance to exit quietly and unscathed.  Once they are at a safe distance then – yes: all hell can be let loose!

  That happened during Argentina’s massive banking, financial and monetary collapse of 2001/2: social chaos, dozens killed in clashes with police, 50% of the population buried below the poverty line, 40% drop in GDP, et pourtant .... not one single private bank folded!

  Deja vu “all over again”

  Argentina’s then-president Fernando De la Rúa and his Rockefeller-Soros wizard Economy Minister Domingo Cavallo did everything the mega-bankers needed to weather the storm, but nothing to help “we the people” who lost life savings, jobs, homes, health benefits…

  Il n'est pas surprenant, after more than a decade Argentina’s government ensures a “business as usual” banking atmosphere: politicians and megabankers always cozy up to each other (money-sloshing tends to do that…).

  What about “we the people”...?  Argentine workers continue biting the dust suffering all sorts of government-triggered abuse – inflation, a total foreign exchange lock-down, and ferocious tax collector persecution.  Why?  When President Kirchner of Argentina must choose between local workers and global megabankers, she systematically chooses the latter… with suitable media marketing of course.

  Does this ring a bell?  Spain?  Italy?  Greece?  Ireland?  Cyprus? Occupy Wall Streeters…?

  A tip: don’t believe the mainstream media; don’t believe government liars; above all: don’t believe the megabankers!

  What’s it really all about?

  Example: If you’re having a drink at the pub and your mate knocks your pint of beer on your lap: Ooops!  Sorry!! Acccident…  If he does that again 5 minutes later: Gosh what bad luck!!!  If he does that a third time: HE’S DOING IT ON PURPOSE!  For some reason, it’s the guy’s behaviour pattern so best to keep away from him!

  Now look at recurrent sovereign-debt banking crises: Argentina suffered four “debt crises” over the past forty years that were all so similar to what later happened in 2008 Aux États-Unis; which was identical to the banking crises in the UK and Iceland, which were then repeated in Ireland, Portugal, Spain and Italy; which flared last year in Greece and today robs Cypriot workers down to their bones.  Accident?  Bad luck? No… It’s a System!

  We are in fact dealing with major fraud perpetrated by the global megabanking establishment and done “legally” because they pay for, finance, position and control key government posts in the executive, legislative and judicial branches of governments in just about every country.

  Whether Argentina or Brazil, the US or Britain, Spain or Italy, Greece or Cyprus.  Same story; even the same players.

  pourquoi?

  Because the global megabanking establishment have worked really hard through their media, universities and their own players to blind us to a key factor no one ever talks about: the difference between public money (issued by the State) and private money (created by private banks almost out of nothing).

  Public money are the dollar, euros, peso and pound bills circulating in different parts of the world issued by public banking authorities, normally a national central bank having monopoly issuance rights.  Any private citizen doing the same will, if caught, end up in jail.  And rightly so because counterfeiting currency adds money to the system but no work is added to the Real Economy.  The message to the people is clear: You want money?  Work for it!

  privé Argent, cependant, is created by the private banking system thanks to Fractional Lending which legally allows them to create loans for 10, 20 OU 50 times the amount of deposits in their vaults and then charge interest for them!  But private bank money is just a figure on your bank statement or a blip on your ATM screen.  Like all screens it can go blank “in a moment, in a twinkling of an eye…”  The message to the bankers is clear: You want money? Create it for nothing!

  People instinctively understand this which is why millions of Argentinians cued at their ATM’s waiting to get some “real money” (even if Mr. Cavallo’s “corralito” limited that to 250 pesos per week).  Fast forward eleven years to Cyprus: same picture of people trying to withdraw 100 euros before they’re all gone.

  Sovereign Debt Death Trap

  1) The private megabanker cabal uses their leverage/control over governments and politicians so legislation is passed ensuring that the central bank never provides the right amount of public money the real economy of goods, services and investment needs; Je., no credit.

  2) In come the private bankers, asking government: “You need money build highways, finance defense, education and health?  No problem: we’ll lend you all you want!"

  3) Government keeps borrowing and borrowing way beyond its means.

  4) Bankers and politicians refinance debt again and again and again, until it balloons way beyond repayment possibilities of the victim-nation.

  …Oh, the wonders of compound interest!!

  Take the high road or the low road…?

  Say you’re president of a country and you need to build a 100 mile road costing $ 120.000.000 over a one year period, at an investment rate of $ 10.000.000 per month to pay for steel, cement, constructors, architects, workers, etc.  Everything is set to go; you have two options:

  Option 1: Ask private bankers to loan you $ 120.000.000 à, dire, 10% interest which means you are indebted by $ 132.000.000. The bankers funding you will, sans aucun doute, impose certain conditions like you’re having to use such and such a construction company, insurer, consultant, cement, steel providers….

  Final cost: probably closer to $ 140 à 150 million.  Irresponsible modern politicians will of course just dump that debt into the federal deficit black hole.  Let the next president or prime minister tackle it!

  Meanwhile, compound interest makes the debt grow and grow and grow: music to mega bankers’ ears!

  Even more stupid: for a country like Argentina the loan will be in Dollars even though everything they need to build the highway – cement, steel, architects, workers – is available locally and could be paid in local pesos.

  Final Result: Public indebtedness in foreign currency in an amount 40 or 50% more than actually needed, that will continue to grow under compound interest…

  Option 2: You order your central bank to issue $ 10.000.000 per month for 12 months in local currency.  This may have a temporary inflationary effect that is immediately offset because government recovers tranches of that money through taxes that cement, steel and service providers start paying to your tax office, plus labor dues paid by workers.  You repeat this for the 2nd, 3rd, 4th months until the 12th month when the highway is finished.  Final equation: a good part of the currency issued immediately flowed back to your tax office (who can take it out of circulation), and the rest that remained  in circulation can be recovered longer-term through road tolls.  In fact most of it will be absorbed by increased demand emanating from real economic growth generated by the new highway (gas stations, diners, new towns, etc.).

  Benefits: you did it with your local currency at ZERO INTEREST.  If you do your homework right, the temporary transitional inflationary effect can be duly neutralized.  Final Public Debt: Zero.

  Maintenant, you be the judge: what’s better, financing with public currency issued under a sovereign model, or with private banking money that makes sovereign debt grow way beyond your means, leading to inevitable Sovereign Debt crises in country after country; not by mistake but by design.

  That is what megabankers want in terms of money, and that is what the Global Power Elite seeks because public debt ensures full control of countries.  To add insult to injury, when bankers really screw things up as in 2008, government and media tell that we must save those nice banks because they’re “too big to fail.”  You put your money in a Cyprus bank? Sorry… you’ll have to chip in with 20, 50 OU 100 percent of it to save the bankers…

  Now do we understand what’s behind this whole diabolical, perverse, fraudulent and immoral Sovereign Debt Crisis system?

  Francis: The ‘End of the World’ Pope

  After the white-smoke “fumatta” signaled Argentina’s Archbishop of Buenos Aires Jorge Bergoglio now heads the Catholic Church, the attention turns to significant, if subtle, signs surrounding the naming of the new Pope.

  As soon as Msgr. Bergoglio was chosen, in the privacy of the Vatican Cardinal Giovanni Battista’s first question to him was, "What name would you like to be known by?” to which he replied “I shall be called Francis".

  Moments later, when presented to the world from the Basilica overlooking St. Peter’s Square Pope Francis announced to the world, "You know that the duty of the conclave was to give a bishop to Rome. It seems that my brother cardinals went almost to the end of the world to get him. But here we are."

  An interesting and significant phrase filled with foreboding in these troubling times, many perceive of apocalyptic worldwide turmoil.  Particularly to those lending credence to the prophesies of Irish Saint Malachy, a 12th century Archbishop of Armagh who had a vision when visiting Rome of 112 future popes that the Church would supposedly have from his days onwards.

  Malachy wrote down short emblematic and symbolic descriptions for each which have been fulfilled with uncanny precision to this very day.

  According to that vision, the 111th pope was Benedict XVI, whom he described as “The Glory of the Olive” which makes him the next-to-last pope.

  Malachy could have very well been way off the mark by whole centuries when you consider that some popes like Pius IX in the 19th century reigned for a full 34 ans, whilst others like last century’s John Paul I only reigned for 33 short days.  And yet, as we enter 2013 – just months after 2012 with its symbolic End-of-Time aura – we suddenly have a new (the last?) pope being chosen.

  Many “firsts”

  Even if Francis I is not the last pope, he certainly makes an interesting list of Catholic firsts: the first non-European pope in almost 1500 ans; the first Jesuit; the first to choose Francis as his name; the first to succeed an abdicating pope in six centuries.

  Why all the expectation?  Because for the 112th pope on Malachy’s List he wrote these ominous words: "In the final persecution of the Holy Roman Church, there will sit Peter the Roman, who will pasture his sheep in many tribulations, and when these things are finished, the city of seven hills will be destroyed, and the dreadful judge will judge his people. The End."

  If Malachy’s List continues to hold in its uncanny precision to the very end, then Pope Francis I is the last pope of the Roman Catholic Church.

  On the very same day that Benedict XVI shocked the world with his unprecedented and unexpected resignation, a bolt of lightning struck St. Peter Cathedral’s Dome, an image that went around the world.  “The hand of God” many thought, only this time not alluding to an Argentine football player but rather a sign of the times to come for the Vatican: the coming of an Argentinian pope.

  The monsignors are said to take this and other prophecies – notably the Vision of Fatima – quite seriously, which might help to explain why other possible papal candidates who either carried the name Peter or came from Rome were discretely left aside so as not to tempt Destiny.

  Quoi qu'il en soit, Francis I is as he himself unwittingly said, an “end of the world” pope coming as he does from far off Argentina.

  Opposition Cardinal in Argentina

  As Archbishop of Buenos Aires, Bergoglio championed the plight of the poor in a very hands-on manner, which set him at loggerheads with the now ten-year-old, increasingly left-wing Nestor and Cristina Kirchner Regime.

  His criticism of their government got stronger as the years went by, specifically targeting the Kirchner government’s corruption, political mismanagement and hypocrisy.

  Since Msgr. Bergoglio would persistently lash out at the Kirchners during the solemnities of the Te Deum marking the anniversary of Argentina’s 25th May 1810 Revolution in Buenos Aires Cathedral which is traditionally attended by the President, his family and cabinet. Starting in 2005 the Kirchners decided to celebrate this anniversary elsewhere in the country to avoid Msgr. Bergoglio…  In fact, President Cristina Kirchner has not met with him in almost three years now.

  Though a moderate in many aspects – especially in his drive for Ecumenical inter-faith relations (he was just invited to visit Israel), and in his embracing of Second Vatican Council reforms – he has, cependant, systematically opposed same-sex marriage which became legal in Argentina in 2011, and strongly opposes abortion laws that are being promoted by both the left and the “liberal” right.

  Msgr. Bergoglio is an ardent devotee of the Virgin Mary whose protection he invoked in his very first message urbi et orbi.  The first place he went to pray as pope was the Chapel of the Blessed Virgin at Santa Maria Maggiore.

  A House Cleaner in the Vatican?

  As a sign of the times to come, Francis I is also the first pope in history to choose a name that honors one of Christendom’s most important saints: Saint Francis of Assisi, a 13th century reformer who preached by setting an example for all.

  Although from a wealthy family, he chose to live in poverty and austerity telling his followers that a good Christian’s duty is to “Preach the Gospel always, if necessary use words"; meaning thereby that the best preachers are those setting the best examples, something the Church seems to have increasingly forgotten in modern times.

  Saint Francis founded the Franciscan Order and its female counterpart founded by his spiritual sister St. Claire, both of which made vows of poverty.  His preaching got him into trouble with local secular and Church authorities even landing him in jail.

  As today, the Church of St. Francis’s time was very much in need of a major internal clean-up.  Francis of Assisi reproached the pope in front of all his cardinals for their excessive attachment to luxury, and their banality and mundane ways.  Later, Pope Innocent III would finally approve his predication and approved the founding of the Franciscan Order.

  SO, will Pope Francis I do as his spiritual predecessor and wage a veritable war for greater austerity inside the Church, requiring its highest authorities to set the example, both inside and outside the Church?

  Will he really do something about prelates accused of improper sexual conduct, cutting them off fully and completely from the Church, and not just “transferring” them away to some quiet place hoping their immoralities and perversion will just go away, as if by magic?

  Will Francis I also fully and thoroughly clean up the Vatican Bank (Institute of Religious Works) forcing it to cancel shady financial deals, reject usury-based financial income, and putting its monetary wealth to work for the poor?

  Encore une fois, will he identify and weed out the truly guilty of such crimes and perversion, severing all Church ties with them?
  En bref, will Francis I do something none of his predecessors seems to have had the will to do over the past fifty years, which is not to sweep all this mess under the carpet, but rather cleaning the place up for real?

  That all remains to be seen.

  Hundreds of millions of honest Catholics the world over, including in his native Argentina, certainly hope that he will.
  Others, much closer to him now, who reside inside the Vatican, cependant, tremble at the thought that he might actually do just that.

  Clearly a grave danger for Pope Francis, when one remembers that another pope – John Paul I – had pledged when chosen that he would clean up the Vatican Bank after its Banco Ambrosiano/Freemasonry scandal.  Alas!  John Paul I appears as Pope No. 109 in Malachy’s List, carrying the phrase “De Medietate Lunae” (of the Half of the Moon”): when elected in late August 1978, there was a half-moon in the sky and he died at the next half-moon…

  Which Francis?

  But we’re not really sure whether Msgr. Bergoglio chose his papal name only because of the Saint from Assisi.  It may have been to honor other Francis’s like St. Francis Javier, or even 16th century St. Francis de Borja both of whom were, like himself, Jesuits.

  The Jesuits – The Society of Jesus – are a 16th Century order founded by Spaniard St. Ignace of Loyola, as a militia to defend the Church against the forces of reformation and other dangers to the faith.

  The Jesuit’s strong-willed militancy got them expelled several times from the American colonies and also from Europe.  Even the Church itself suppressed them.  They have an autonomous leadership under its Superior General whom many refer to as the “Black Pope” alluding to the Order’s great leverage inside then Church.  Jesuits are known for being shrewd and sharp intellectuals with a keen sense for political and social strategy, and a very strong will to promote and drive their goals and objectives.

  Maybe Msgr. Bergoglio is honoring all of these Francis’s. But the one that has caught the Catholic world’s imagination is clearly St Francis of Assisi, in which case much will be expected of Pope Francis.  No pope – until now – has ever chosen that name which many perceive as emblematic of a key enemy of certain castes of mischief-makers inside the Vatican.

  At odds on Iran: US doesn’t share Israeli zeal for military solution

  When Israel invaded Southern Lebanon in 2006 they were ignominiously expelled by Iran-backed Hezbollah. depuis, the Jewish State has gone into ‘we-have-to-take-out-Iran’ mode, doing everything it can to drag America to war against Iran.    Almost seven years later, Israel’s window of opportunity is closing fast.

  ‘My big brother America is gonna beat you up…!»

  That’s been Israel’s implicit message to Iran ever since. When George W. Buisson, Dick Cheney, Condoleeza Rice and the NeoCons ran America, bringing the US on board this war-mongering effort against Iran did not seem a daunting task. Especially considering that inside the US, Israel can rely on a little help from its ‘friends’: the powerful pro-Israel lobby led by AIPAC – American Israeli Public Affairs Committee.
  But in 2008 Bush was replaced by Barack Obama whose brand of Democrats are not all knee-jerking ‘Israel First’ fanatics. Add to that the US Military’s growing resistance to a foreign policy that has been led astray by the Israeli lobby, particularly after successive fiascos in Iraq, L'Afghanistan, and the growing “Arab Spring” mess.
  Even more, large sectors of US and global public opinion are becoming aware of the dangers of America’s Israel addiction; of Israel’s use and abuse of the US as a proxy power fighting its wars, something clearly not in America’s national interest. In his message to the UN General Assembly last September, Israeli prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu produced a cute bomb-shaped graph to show the world just how close ‘big bad Iran’ is to having a nuclear bomb which he says they will use to obliterate ‘good little Israel’.
  Netanyahu would have certainly loved to see staunch Zionist Mitt Romney make it to the White House in November’s elections but – Alas! – he didn’t, and Obama’s still living there, and even had the nerve of naming non-Zionist moderate Chuck Hagel as head the Pentagon.
  It seems the US is taking an increasingly arm’s length approach to the ‘Iran Problem’ given the very serious geopolitical perils and overtones that any unilateral US/Israeli/NATO military attack on Iran would spell, which might even lead to direct confrontation with Russia.
  Meanwhile Iran will not back down on its nuclear program, an issue the Obama Administration is taking an oddly calm view on. Significantly, the US even gave Argentina a subtle nod to negotiate with Iran over the 1994 AMIA terror bombing in Buenos Aires.
  depuis, theories have arisen that Bush, the US president at the time, coaxed Argentina’s President Kirchner into falsely accusing Iran, solely based on CIA/Mossad “evidence” delivered in October 2006, right after Israel’s fiasco in Lebanon.
  So in light of all this what, exactly, is going on here? Why are the US and Israel at loggerheads over Iran?

  America’s Worst Nightmare

  Today the US and Israel have increasingly divergent interests and objectives regarding Iran. Israel’s are easy to grasp: Iran is Israel’s geopolitical arch-enemy, and one of the few countries that is up to the task of becoming a strong and credible leader in the Muslim World, especially since one of Iran’s key objectives is to do away with Israel’s hardline rule in Palestine.
  Mainstream Western media have continually and falsely noted that “Iran wants to wipe Israel off the map”, rather than Iran merely wanting an end to the Israeli occupation of Palestine. L'Amérique, cependant, has a different cause for concern.
  Nothing to do with Iran’s nuclear program but rather with the US Dollar. For many decades the US, through its Federal Reserve Bank, has abusively printed huge quantities of unbacked ‘Fiat money’ to finance its huge deficit, which today has ballooned to over 15 billion. All’s well as long as that money circulates and ends up somewhere far away, such as the vaults of the central banks of friendly countries like Japan, Taiwan, South Korea, and even of some not so friendly countries like China. Even if it is kept going around and around in the global financial merry-go-rounds of the bonds markets or… the huge global oil market.
  “Just keep it flowing and busy in all those markets”, Washington seems to be saying, "…so that we can continue printing more and more of it!” Of course, none dare call it inflation, technocrats have nice buzz-words for things like, “Quantitative Easing I, II et III ", “TARP Funding” and “too-big-to-fail-megabank bailouts…” But call it what you may, inflation by any other name smells just as rotten…

  Public Enemies

  The US knows only too well that, dans une grande mesure, it is a superpower without much power, because if China decided to sell their almost 2 trillion in US-Dollar treasury bills, bonds and other financial instruments, quickly changing them into Euros, it would spell inflationary disaster for America. Such eventualities however, are unlikely to occur given the complexities of global financial markets; Ainsi, neither China nor any other major US-dollar-holder appears ready to do that – not just now, anyway.
  cependant, there is another much more physical, concrete and strategically complex threat that keeps US leaders awake at night- the oil market. To better understand why America’s joy-ride is fast coming to an end as people’s political awareness grows, let me give you a simple example: Every time Argentina, South Africa or Japan need to buy a barrel of crude oil, its people must work to earn those 100 dollars oil costs in international markets.
  les Etats-Unis, cependant, only needs to print US$100. The same goes if they need money to overrun Iraq, Libya or drone-bomb Afghanistan to smithereens: just print the money and keep the oil flowing and the bombs falling. Get the picture? It’s easy to be a “superpower” that way!
  But the picture becomes clearer when you join the dots. Imagine what would happen if those trillions upon trillions of Petro-Dollars spinning and gurgling globally were to suddenly slip from the control of the three – and only three – New York, London and Dubai-based global oil markets solely trading in Dollars?
  par exemple, if a major oil-producing country or group of countries were to create a fourth global oil market trading not in Dollars but in Euros, say Yens, Rubles, Yuans…? Given the volumes of oil that countries like China, India and Japan gobble up, if successful, such a market would displace very sizeable shares of Petro-Dollar volumes, which would mean fast declining mega-sums of Petro-dollars spinning away from global markets and flowing back towards US-centered financial circuits. Can you imagine what hundreds of billions of freed up Petro-Dollars flowing back to the US in a short period of time would mean?

  Well, like the proverbial cat playing with a mouse under its paws, since at least 2005 Iran has been openly toying with the idea of opening up a such fourth non-US$ global oil market. China would probably support them as they get a sizeable share of their oil from Iran, so perhaps would India. If the followers of Hugo Chavez hold on to power, Venezuela too might tag along (now do we understand why the US needs to get a strong grip on Venezuela?).
  Even Russia, which does not really need Iranian oil, might support Iran for its own geopolitical reasons, considering its growing conflicts with the West. Last year, we even heard strong rumors about Iran selling oil to India payable in gold… Iran fully understands this issue so they are cautiously biding their time. se souvenir, their Persian forefathers invented chess… SO, wouldn’t the US just love to take out Iran to thwart such a threat? I mean, it already happened twice in the last decade:

  L'Irak: As part of UN sanctions after the first Gulf War, every year Saddam Hussein was allowed to trade one billion dollars of Iraqi oil for medicines and food. But then, starting in 2000 Saddam started to switch over to the Euro. Suddenly, the world learned from Bush’s NeoCons that Iraq had arsenals of nasty “weapons of mass destruction”; that Saddam had to be “taken out” otherwise mushroom clouds would explode over London, Washington and New York! And so, a decade ago in March 2003, les Etats-Unis, UK and NATO promptly ransacked Iraq and had Saddam Hussein murdered. WMD’s? Ooopss, sorry… didn’t find any!…mais: Iraq continues selling its oil in dollars.

  Libye: dans 2010 Libyan leader Muammar Gaddafi was planning to introduce a new currency to trade North African oil: the “Gold Dinar” in lieu of the dollar. Suddenly, the world learned from the US, France and Britain that Gaddafi was a formidable monster so…in October 2011 he too was taken out and murdered on live TV to the laughter of Hillary “We-came-we-saw-he-died” Clinton. Now Libya lies in shambles but its new pro-Exxon/BP “authorities” trade their oil solely in dollars…

  Turning points

  The key question now is which shall prevail in the US in the weeks and months to come: American national interest or Israeli national interest?
  This is really top level Machtpolitik so, just to be sure everything’s in order, the most obedient Western mainstream media are keeping “all options on the table” running all sorts of headlines to remind us how nasty Iran is, its nuke ambitions, poor Little Israel and its security issues (which is why they’re allowed to keep the sole nuclear arsenal in the Middle East, right?), the delicate state of the global financial system and why no one should be allowed to rock the boat and, bien sûr, the never-ending “War on Terror…", But now we know.
  It is all about oil; it is all about the US-Dollar; it is all about a global financial system being kept artificially alive for mega-banker profit; it is about Israel… The flip-side of that coin gets even worse: It’s not about the interest of the working masses in the US, Europe and worldwide; and it definitely is not about Democracy or Human Rights.

  The US is the Don Corleone of International Politics

  South America – Venezuela in particular – has been the target of a coordinated campaign by the US government and private industry over the past few years. But those of us who have been paying attention know this is nothing new.

  WikiLeaks recently published new documents showing that US global intelligence corporations like Stratfor and its foreign offshoot CANVAS worked hard over the past decade (aided and abetted by US Government agencies) in a failed attempt to overthrow Venezuela’s democratically elected president Hugo Chavez.

  Meddling in the ‘Backyard’

  The US corporate over-world has always worked closely with the CIA, the State Department and the Pentagon promoting the overthrow – known as “regime change in rogue states” – of governments that do not automatically align to US interests; OU, better said, of governments that do not automatically align with the interests of the supra-national global power elite that is deeply embedded inside private and public power structures in the US.

  This has been especially true throughout Latin America, traditionally America’s geopolitical and economic backyard, from Mexico to Tierra del Fuego.

  par exemple, September 11th of this year (of all dates!) marks the 40th anniversary of the CIA-backed, financed and orchestrated overthrow and assassination of Chile’s democratically elected president, Salvador Allende.

  Allende was replaced by a pro-US and pro-UK military junta headed by General Augusto Pinochet. At the time, private corporations like ITT worked hand in hand with CIA operatives promoting strikes, social turmoil and waging psychological warfare through the local media. Then it was Chile; now it’s Venezuela.

  en fait,, the 1970s and 1980s saw the Kissinger-designed and executed ‘Condor Plan’ finance and diplomatically support various military coups and regimes not only in Chile but in Argentina, Bolivie, Uruguay, Paraguay and other countries in the region.

  Such US-UK support for authoritarian and criminal regimes would only stop when some Latin American general like Argentina’s General Leopoldo Galtieri went too far by doing something really stupid, like Argentina’s 1982 invasion of the Falkland Islands.

  Barring that, all those US-backed coups used local military strongmen trained in the US Military’s School of the Americas in Panama to do as they pleased in their local countries, as long as: (Un) they kept those countries aligned to US geopolitical imperatives which during the Cold War meant being staunchly anti-Communist; (b) accepted Chicago-Boys-style financial dependency and artificially created public debts; (c) kept local populations in permanent fear and thus ‘disciplined and orderly.’

  Since the fall of the former Soviet Union, cependant, these tactics changed dramatically. Now US control over Latin American countries is centred on promoting ‘democracy.’ Well, actually, “the kind of democracy that we want to see," as Hillary Clinton so eloquently put it when visiting ‘Arab Spring Egypt’ back in March 2011.

  Such money-controlled democracy is, bien sûr, no democracy at all, but rather an obscene money-sloshing and media clownery system that catapults their favourite candidates into local positions of power.

  When the US has its way as in Mexico, Colombia and Chile, and their candidates win local elections, then it’s all business as usual.

  But when growing political awareness among the local populace elects presidents into power who prioritize the local national interest as in Ecuador (who just re-elected their fine president Rafael Correa), Bolivie (Evo Morales) et, most notably, Venezuela with Hugo Chavez, then the ‘regime change’ mega-juggernaut comes into full action.

  Public and private initiative

  In America, you never know whether it’s the White House and Congress running the country and the corporate over-world, or if it’s the other way around: The corporate over-world runs the White House, Congress and the country.

  Recent WikiLeaks documents released on Venezuela describes Stratfor as “a company that fronts as an intelligence publisher, but provides confidential intelligence services to large corporations such as Bhopal’s Dow Chemical Co., Lockheed Martin, Northrop Grumman, Raytheon and government agencies, including the US Department of Homeland Security, the US Marines and the US Defence Intelligence Agency.”

  “The emails," WikiLeaks goes on to explain, “show Stratfor’s web of informers, pay-off structure, payment laundering techniques and psychological methods.”

  The filtered emails cover a wide range of issues on the energy sector, especially oil; political change and the state of right-wing forces inside Venezuela; and the state of the country’s armed forces. They also refer to Venezuela’s relations with Cuba, Chine, Russia and Iran, and provide bleak projections for the economy and the financial sector.

  The Serbian-based and US-supported Center for Applied Non-Violent Action and Strategies (CANVAS) is yet another such ‘global intelligence’ front of what, dans la pratique,, are organizations specializing in engineering social turmoil – even civil war – as countries like Serbia, Libye, Afghanistan and Syria have painfully learned.

  The leaked emails from CANVAS had them explaining their recommended strategy for toppling governments, as in one revealing message to Stratfor:

  “When somebody asks us for help, as in Vene (sic!) case, we usually ask them the question ‘and how would you do it?». That means that the first thing is to create a situational analysis (the word doc I sent you) and after that comes “Mission Statement” (still left to be done) and then “Operational Concept”, which is the plan for campaign… For this case we have three campaigns: Unification of opposition, campaign for [Septembre 2010 parliamentary elections] and parallel with that a ‘get out and vote’ campaign.”   Very straightforward!

  Stratfor’s founder and chairman is one George Friedman, who is regularly interviewed in the Wall Street Journal, CNBC and CNN and is advisor to JPMorganChase, CitiGroup and Ernst & Jeunes. Stratfor’s president & CEO is Shea Morenz, who for many years was a senior officer at Goldman Sachs. Not exactly corporations and megabanks bent on promoting the common good of the people of Venezuela, or of any other country in Latin America or elsewhere.

  Clairement, there are no sharp lines separating these private intelligence publishers and analysts, think tanks like the Council on Foreign Relations, RAND Corporation, National Endowment for Democracy and major corporations, from public US-Government agencies like the CIA, NSA, USAID and the State Department.

  en fait,, throughout Latin America, lucid political observers will always keep an eye on what ‘La Embajada’ is up to. ‘La Embajada’ is Spanish for ‘The Embassy’ – not just any embassy, bien sûr, but the local Embassy of the United States.

  No surprise then to learn that this batch of WikiLeaks documents reveals US-based firms working to overthrow Hugo Chavez by assisting and financing opposition candidates like Henrique Capriles Radonsky, who was Chavez’s main opposition candidate, coming in second place in last year’s presidential elections.

  Capriles Radonsky is strongly backed by US, European and Israeli interests, thanks to his notable alignment to those countries’ objectives in Venezuela and the region. Of Jewish background – in a country with a very tiny Jewish community – Radonsky promises to steer Venezuela away from the close ties forged by Chavez with Iran, Cuba, La Russie, China and (until it was overrun and destroyed by NATO) also Libya.

  Due to President Chavez’s ailing health, this public-private US initiative is again hard at work promoting all opposition forces inside Venezuela, whilst they eagerly await good news (pour eux) about president Chavez’s condition, hoping that he may have to relinquish the presidency he won late last year, which would mean new elections in a Venezuela without Chavez.

  A tragedy not just for Venezuela but for the entire region as well, where the US continues holding full sway in countries like Colombia – whose president Juan Manuel Santos is a member of the Rockefeller-funded, New York-based ‘Americas Society’ that promotes in-roads into Latin America for the powerful Council on Foreign Relations, whose head office is just across the street from them on Park Avenue at 57th Street. And Mexico recently elected pro-US rich-boy Enrique Peña Nieto as president. Two countries where it’s business as usual.

  ‘Make it look like a democratic election’

  In advising on how to engineer destabilisation, CANVAS told Stratfor, that “We only give them the tools to use.” Referring to the 2010 parliamentary elections, they wrote, “This year we are definitely ramping up activity in Venezuela… they have elections in September and we are in close connection with activists from there and people trying to help them (please keep this to yourself for now, no publication). The first phase of our preparation is under way.”

  SO, Ceci est “the kind of democracy the US wants to see.” OU, as Don Corleone in ‘The Godfather’ would recommend to agents and operatives if he sat in the State Department or the CIA: “Make it look like a democratic election.”

  Maybe Corleone’s best disciples are actually running the show after all.

  Cristina Kirchner: la mejor alumna del FMI…

  “Por sus frutos los conoceréis”

  La prochaine 25 de mayo se cumple una década de Gobierno Kirchner lo que nos permite evaluar con cierta perspectiva histórica no sólo los resultados concretos de las gestiones de Néstor y Cristina Kirchner, sino también los objetivos, intereses y modelo ideológico que los hamovilizado a lo largo de esta cruel Tercera Década Infame ([Dans]).

  Cuadro de situación

  Aujourd'hui, el Pueblo Trabajador Argentino – esa vasta mayoría silenciosa que observa atónita la casi completa degradación, decadencia y debilitamiento de nuestra nación en lo político, Culturel, social y económico ante un mundo crecientemente peligroso – comienza a movilizarse con un triple objetivo:

  (Un) procurar entender por qué la Argentina ha caído a niveles tan abyectamente bajos; Alors, cuáles han sido y son los mecanismos que llevaron a nuestra actual decadencia,

  (b) procurar identificar quiénes – operando desde el Estado, la oposición partidocrática, los multimedios y otros sectores – han sido los causantes de esta caída estrepitosa; Alors, quienes con los responsables de nuestra decadencia, et

  (c) determinar qué puede y debe hacer con urgencia el Pueblo Trabajador para volver a ponerse de pie y recuperar una Argentina hoy secuestrada por los peores elementos internos y externos; o sea cuáles son los ejes de la lucha por nuestra segunda independencia.

  Pues ya no se trata tan solo de luchar contra un determinado gobierno – hoy, el Kirchnerismo y sus hordas de irresponsables, ladrones, inmorales, usurpadores y enemigos del país – pues, seamos sinceros: todo lo que vino antes de los Kirchner a lo largo de estos tristes treinta años de “democracia” ([II]) ha sido mayormente una calamidad. Duhalde, De la Rúa, Je suis, Alfonsín y ahora los Kirchner han venido para completado la magna tarea de destrucción nacional urdida desde los máximos centros de poder mundial, que comenzara en marzo de 1976 cuando una minoría usurpadora de civiles y militares desplazó al gobierno legalmente constituido para impulsar no sólo la violencia social sobre la mayoría del pueblo argentino sino – lo que fue mucho peor – imponer los intereses financieros y geopolíticos de los Dueños del Poder Global. Esa y no otra fue la tarea de personeros locales como José Martinez de Hoz, Roberto y Juan Alemann, Domingo Cavallo, el CARI – Consejo Argentino para las Relaciones Internacionales – y los grandes multimedios, siempre alineados a los intereses de las “embajadas” clave.

  “¡Con yanquis y con marxistas, no hay peronistas!"

  Una de las mayores mentiras instalada en nuestra sociedad es que los gobiernos Menem y Kirchner fueron y son “peronistas”. Que cualquier cretino o cretina se autodefine como “peronista” – sabiendo que así logrará captar muchos votos o al menos el “voto emotivo” de la familia peronista – no significa que lo sea. Todos conocemos el aluvión de “peronistas” que no lo son ni jamás lo fueron: desde Macri, Duhalde y Rodriguez Sáa hasta Scioli, Alsogaray y De la Sota pasando, bien sûr, por Menem y los Kirchner.

  Juan Perón dejó bien en claro cuál era su doctrina a través de sus diversos discursos, Conférences, actos de gobierno y libros, notablemente “Conducción Política”, “La Comunidad Organizada” y “La Hora de los Pueblos”.

  Un fundamento justicialista inamovible fue mantenerse independiente de los ideologismos de izquierda y de derecha propios del siglo XX, lo que en la práctica significa rechazar tanto la tutela del marxismo como la del poder del dinero. Es lo que Perón denominó la “Tercera Posición”, que conforma casi podríamos decir una ‘prueba ácida’ de si un político o partido representa auténticamente los lineamientos ideológicos del justicialismo o si, por el contrario, se trata de farsantes y oportunistas.

  Reiteradamente, Cristina Kirchner declama que “hay que profundizar el Modelo”, dejando a un enorme sector del Pueblo Trabajador de clase media preguntándose ¿de qué “modelo” está hablando?” Pareciera ser que el tan cacareado “Modelo” es hoy un hermético secreto de Estado que nadie conoce; algo “Top Secret” como diría Cristina en sus raptos de chapucear el par de palabras en inglés que se aprendió…

  Para la correcta compresión de la temática abordada en este artículo – o sea, Cristina Kirchner como gerenciadora del FMI y de la banca global – creemos que resulta vital primero aportar algunos lineamientos respecto del famoso “Modelo K”. Digamos al respecto que:

  (1) Los Kirchner no son, jamás fueron ni nunca serán Peronistas o Justicialistas en el sentido de suscribir y aplicar la doctrina política de Juan Domingo Perón en sus políticas y actos de gobierno; nos referimos especialmente a la doctrina justicialista de la “Tercera Posición” de no alineamiento ni con el marxismo internacionalista ni con el capitalismo financiero internacional;

  (2) Kirchner, En effet, siempre han sido, son y seguirán siendo socialdemócratas, según las consignas aggiornadas de la Internacional Socialdemócrata y su “tercera vía” emanada de las usinas y think-tanks británicos próximos a la London School of Economics ([iii]).

  Aujourd'hui, esta aggiornada socialdemocracia se ha transformado en una suerte de “caza bobos” ideológico, utilizado con gran eficacia por los dueños del poder global para promover sus intereses geopolíticos, sociales y económico-financieros sobre todo el planeta, la Argentina y nuestro continente incluidos.

  Veamos entonces cuales son los tres ejes fundamentales de esta “renovada” Social Democracia que, una vez comprendidos, tornan muy fácil identificar las raíces, razón de ser y objetivos del “Modelo K”; por cuanto la Social Democracia es:

  • le IZQUIERDA en lo social y cultural. Ello se verifica en un discurso “para la galería” que es anti-militar, anti-religión, pro-gay, pro-aborto, pro-libertinaje, pro-parasitismo laboral, anti-tradicional y – muy especialmente para los más jóvenes – promotor de una sub-cultura erosiva y decadente de estilo “sexo, droga y rock and roll”([iv])
  • le CENTRO en lo político. Mantiene un respeto y alineamiento absoluto ante la inicua estructura de poder mundial y, mucho más importante,ante el imperativo geopolítico del los dueños del poder global en este naciente Nuevo Orden Mundial, verdadero enemigo de todos los pueblos ([V]).
  • le DERECHA LIBERAL en lo económico/financiero cumpliendo a rajatabla con las exigencias de la banca usurera global de:

  (Un) jamás investigar el origen y evolución de la deuda pública externa e interna del país a lo largo de casi 40 année ([vi]) et, bien sûr,

  (b) pagar, pagar y pagar a la banca internacional, priorizando SIEMPRE el pago de la deuda por encima de las necesidades sociales y estratégicas del pueblo argentino.

  Este alineamiento simultáneo a las consignas ideológicas de la izquierda y a las exigencias financieras de las élites de la derecha liberal, representa una total negación de la doctrina y praxis del justicialismo. Pareciera que el “Modelo K” en lugar de sostener la sabia consigna peronista “¡ni yanquis, ni marxistas: peronistas!", ejecuta políticas de alineamiento CON los poderosos “yanquis” y CON los decrépitos “marxistas” devenidos en socialdemócratas. Alors, el kirchnerismo deviene en cualquier cosa MENOS peronista: claramente “con yanquis y con marxistas, no hay peronistas…”

  El verdadero rostro del “Modelo K”: una “Receta del FMI”

  Evaluemos entonces cuatro fenómenos fundamentales que caracterizan a la política económica del Gobierno Kirchner en la Argentina: (Dans) creciente inflación, (II) cepo o “corralito” del Dólar, (iii) feroz ajuste fiscal, et (iv) retraso cambiario. En su conjunto, veremos cómo se desenmascara el verdadero rostro el “Modelo K”. En rigor de verdad, tomados individualmente, cada uno de estos cuatro factores tiende a empeorar; pero tomados en su conjunto sus efectos nocivos y destructivos sobre la economía y finanzas se potencian entre sí, en un retrógrado “el todo es mucho más que la mera suma de sus partes”.

  Lo notable es que las agresivas políticas del Gobierno Kirchner y sus principales colaboradores en esta destrucción programada de la economía nacional argentina – con el consabido deterioro y sufrimiento para toda la sociedad – parecieran haber sido elaboradas son medida por tecnócratas del Fondo Monetario Internacional, de la Reserva Federal y el Depto. del Tesoro de EEUU, y la banca usurera globalizada.

  1) INFLACIÓN, creciente y galopante…

  Desde hace unos tres o cuatro años la Argentina sufre creciente y alarmante aumento en el nivel de inflación del Peso Argentino. A lo largo de las últimas décadas, Argentina ha experimentado largos y reiterados períodos endémicos de alta inflación – incluso episodios traumáticos de hiperinflación como ocurriera en 1989 bajo los gobiernos Alfonsín y luego Menem.

  Lo que hace que la actual galopante inflación (más del 27% en 2012; y con proyecciones superiores al 30% en 2013) resulte aún más enojosa para el pueblo argentino, son las flagrantes y obscenas mentiras propagadas por funcionarios despreciables como el secretario de comercio Guillermo Moreno, y los datos falseados desde el propio Estado a través del INDEC – Instituto Nacional de Estadísticas y Censos–que acaba de declarar que la inflación oficial del 2012 fue 10,8% y la del mes de enero del 1,1%. Nadie, ni siquiera el más fanático “K”, puede sostener semejantes burdas mentiras; incluso los empleados del INDEC se manifiestan protestando contra la falsificación sistemática de los datos que emite, promovido desde las máximas instancias de ese ente oficial.

  Mais, hagamos una pregunta fundamental: ¿Por qué hay un brote inflacionario en el país? Las causas son complejas y diversas, e incluyen un no despreciable factor de psicología colectiva por cuando toda expectativa inflacionaria tiende a elevar los precios de productos y servicios aún más de la cuenta, “por las dudas”. Pero las causas de la inflación son mucho más concretas:

  • EMISIÓN – Première, lo obvio: hay creciente inflación porque el Gobierno emite una mayor cantidad de billetes de los que la Economía Real demanda. Una economía equilibrada mantiene una masa de dinero circulante que es consistente con el crecimiento de la actividad económica. Alors, que toma en cuenta factores macroeconómicos verificables tales como la velocidad de circulación del dinero en distintos sectores de la economía, las necesidades de crédito público y privado, y las demandas infraestructurales (social y estratégica), entre muchos otros. Pero el Gobierno K (al igual que todos los gobiernos en los últimos 40 année) hace caso omiso de esta realidad y, en su lugar, emite sin ton-ni-son todo el dinero que necesita – como una suerte de manotazo de ahogado – para cubrir compromisos imperiosos como el pago déficits fiscales y deuda pública, siempre “pateando para adelante” el problema de la deuda e inflación así generada: siempre se hipoteca el futuro. Aujourd'hui, envilecer el valor del Peso Argentino con sobre-emisión monetaria le da “aire” al Gobierno Kirchner, pero sólo por un rato. Depuis, al igual que le ocurrió al presidente Raúl Alfonsín en 1989, por el camino de la sobre-emisión monetaria descontrolada, el Gobierno arrastraal país hacia el abismo de la hiperinflación… ¡O peor!
  • COMPRA DE DÓLARES POR EL GOBIERNO – En segundo término y mientras que es verdad que parte de esta emisión monetaria se aplica para financiar grandes gastos administrativos y sociales propios de una política de gobierno sustentada en el clientelismo de los sectores más desprotegidos, una enorme parte sin embargo se utiliza para adquirir hasta el último dólar que ande dando vueltas en la plaza Argentina. Si, el Gobierno Kirchner trata de juntar las divisas necesarias para pagar los intereses de la Deuda Externa, cuyo monto acumulado excede ampliamente los u$s 10.000 millones anuales. Este mecanismo de absorción por el Gobierno de todos los dólares disponibles se ejecuta dentro del marco de una compleja ingeniería financiera urdida desde el propio Estado. Su complejidad artificiosa pareciera tener entre sus objetivos encubrir el hecho de que buena parte de la inflación que hoy sufrimos tiene su causa directa en la política del Gobierno Kirchner a lo largo de la última década de priorizar el pago de la deuda externa a la banca usurera global, por encima de las legítimas necesidades y aspiraciones del Pueblo Trabajador Argentino. Esta problemática va de la mano del creciente déficit fiscal y del cepo/corralito del dólar, y ha sido detallada y sólidamente explicada por el Lic.   2) “CEPO” o “CORRALITO” del DÓLAR

  comme nous l'avons, el Gobierno Kirchner tiene imperiosa necesidad de hacerse de dólares para pagar los servicios de la Deuda Pública, para lo cual imprime grandes cantidades de pesos que luego utiliza para comprar dólares a una tasa de cambio preferencia, “oficial” y ficticia y mantenida artificialmente baja (ver abajo el punto “(4) Retraso Cambiario”)que le permite comprar las divisas necesarias para pagar la Deuda.

  • ATAQUE AL MERCOSUR – Hasta tal punto llega la arbitrariedad, el pánico y la falta de idoneidad del Gobierno Kirchner en su gestión, que no sólo no permiten que los argentinos compren divisas fuertes como el Dólar o el Euro – sea para viajar, o para cubrir gastos legítimos en el exterior – sino que tampoco permiten que compremos Reales brasileros o Pesos chilenos y uruguayos o Guaraníes,necesarios para podernos trasladar libremente y hacer negocios y operaciones comerciales dentro del Mercosur. Con el Cepo/”Corralito” del Dólar, el Gobierno Kirchner le ha asestado una golpe potencialmente mortal al Mercosur que se ve así desarticulado y debilitado, con lo que Kirchner ejecuta otro objetivo de la banca usurera global: entorpecer, debilitar y eventualmente destruir el Mercosur para favorecer el AFTA.
  • CLAVE: O SE GOBIERNA PARA EL PUEBLO, O SE GOBIERNA PARA LA BANCA GLOBAL – El pago prioritario y sistemático de la Deuda Pública Externa conforma un eje clave del Gobierno Kirchner. A pesar de la falsificación de datos y estadísticas, el Ministerio de Economía reconoce que al 30 Juin 2012 ([viii]), el total de deuda pública asciende a u$s 194.000 millions, lo que refleja el aumento permanente de la deuda pública a pesar de que se soslayen y esconden datos clave; par exemple, no computa la deuda pública de provincias y municipios, ni los juicios contra el ANSES con sentencia en firme. También se soslaya que bajo el Gobierno Kirchner se generó una gran deuda intra-estatal con diversas entidades, notablemente el Banco Central (tomando sus reservas de divisas), el ANSES (confiscando fondos que son propiedad de los jubilados, para luego no aceptar se ajusten sus haberes ni paguen los juicios con sentencia en firme), y el Banco de la Nación Argentina (copando líneas de crédito que por ley debieran canalizarse a las Pymes, entre otros destinatarios). El Gobierno Kirchner ha confiscado todos estos fondos con un fin prioritario: pagarle a la banca usurera global. Sintetizando, este ha sido uno de los ejes clave a lo largo de esta Década Infame Kirchnerista: cuando deben elegir entre los intereses del Pueblo Trabajador y los de la banca usurera internacional ([ix]), los Kirchner sistemáticamente eligen servir a la banca global.
  • DOS EJEMPLOS DE SERVIDUMBRE ilustrativos que reflejan esto:
    • Mega-Canje de Bonos de Deuda Pública instrumentado por Kirchner-Lavagna (junio 2005) – No solo blanqueó la Deuda Externa en lugar de investigarla como necesita la Argentina (ver Nota No. 6, arriba), sino que emprolijó la caótica situación de los más de 130 bonos de deuda existentes entonces luego del default de la deuda declarado por el efímero presidente Rodriguez Saa en diciembre 2001, transformándolos en tres series de bonos infinitamente más ordenados, controlables y supervisables. Una de esas series, accidentellement, se ajusta por inflación. El total suscripto principalmente por bancos internacionales de esos Bonos K ajustables por inflación es por unos u$s 36.500 millions ($ 183.000 millones de pesos). Aún fraguando los índices inflacionarios desde el INDEC, el Gobierno Kirchner apenas logra pagar los INTERESES del Mega-Canje Kirchner/Lavagna (¡Ni hablar del capital!!). ¿Se imaginan si el INDEC blanqueara el nivel real de la inflación? ¡Argentina volvería a caer inmediatamente en cesación de pagos!
    • Pago total de la “deuda” con el FMI(enero 2006) – Peor aún, Néstor Kirchner sorpresivamente decidió saldar la TOTALIDAD del monto de “deuda” reclamado a la Argentina por el Fondo Monetario Internacional (FMI) – casi u$s 10.000 millones – tratándolo como acreedor privilegiado por cuanto ese pago al FMI se hizo: (Un) en dinero en efectivo, (b) sin quita alguna, et (c) en dólares estadounidenses. ¿A cambio de qué? A cambio de absolutamente NADA, por cuanto el FMI le sigue sacando “tarjeta roja” a la Argentina y sigue siendo el principal escollo que no permite al país acceder a los mercados internacionales de crédito mientras que el “riesgo país” es el más alto de la región, rondando en 1100 puntos (Alors, Argentina debe pagar 11% de interés más, por encima de las tasas de mercado).

  Cuando Néstor Kirchner debió elegir entre regalarle u$s 10.000 millones al FMI o aplicarlo al bienestar del pueblo argentino, sin titubear eligió privilegiar a la banca usurera global. En enero de 2006 el dólar estaba a 3 pesos… ¿Se imaginan lo que se hubiera podido hacer con $ 30.000 millones aplicados a la salud, educación, seguridad, vivienda, trabajo, desarrollo infraestructura social y estratégico? Pero no:el Kirchner prefirió darle nuestras reservas al FMI.

  3) AJUSTE FISCAL

  La tercera “pata” de este Modelo infernal hoy lo padece todo el Pueblo Trabajador Argentino a través de la voracidad criminal de entes como la AFIP – Agencia Federal de Ingresos Públicos – a nivel nacional, ARBA a nivel de la Provincia de Buenos Aires, y entes equivalentes en las demás provincias. Todos estos “entes de recaudación” operan principalmente como Agentes de Retención del fruto del trabajo argentino. Se pavonean declarando que han “logrado cifras record de recaudación impositiva”, pero olvidan aclarar que luego el Gobierno utiliza esos fondos del pueblo para hacerse de los dólares que necesita para pagar la Deuda Externa. Con sólo el robo de los fondos del Banco Central, el ANSES y el Banco Nación no les alcanza.

  Ricardo Etchegaray, Hernán Lorenzino, Axel Kiciloff, Mercedes Marcó del Pont son apenas las caras visibles de una estructura fraudulenta y criminal de confiscación ilegítima que roba el dinero de los Trabajadores Argentinos. No nos equivocamos si decimos que “roban para la corona” de una manera vil, ya que los impuestos que paga el trabajador argentino no solo van para pagar la deuda externa, sino que buena parte también son fagocitados por la corrupción de los Kirchner, Boudou, Etchegaray, Jaime, De Vido, Micelli, Shoklender, Bonafini, y por gastos irresponsables como “Fútbol para Todos” y el clientelismo de “La Campora”, el “Vatayón Militante” y otros desvaríos “K” similares.

  Esta obscena voracidad recaudadora parece tener como eslogan: “¡Impuesto a las Ganancias para Todos y para Todas!"

  Tan grosera es la manera en que se maneja el Gobierno Kirchner que ni siquiera se toma la molestia de derogar impuestos creados bajo Domingo Cavallo, como el Impuesto al Cheque, el IVA al 21% que iba a utilizarse para pagarle a los Jubilados y otros. Ello no ha de sorprender cuando recordamos que cada vez que pagamos la factura de la luz, también estamos pagando un tributo a la provincia de los Kirchner, Santa Cruz ([X]).

  4) RETRASO CAMBIARIO

  Siempre que un país con moneda débil mantiene un retraso cambiario respecto de las divisas fuertes – notablemente el dólar – ello es indicio de la existencia de imposiciones comerciales y presiones financieras de los poderosos del dinero global. A lo largo de casi cuarenta años, la Argentina atravesó tres grandes ciclos de retraso cambiario con alta inflación. O sea inflación rápida y devaluación lenta lo que conduce paulatinamente a gravísimas distorsiones macroeconómicas que dañan al país y sólo benefician a los especuladores y parásitos internacionales y locales.

  Dos de estos ciclos terminaron en auténticas catástrofes para el país; el tercero se encuentra en pleno desarrollo. El lector podrá hacer sus propias proyecciones en base a la experiencia y el sentido común.

Cifras oficiales: U $ S 194.000 millions; cifra real supera los u$s 210 millions; crecimiento de intereses y capital a ritmo acelerado e impagable.	El Modelo K es inviable según el Interés Nacional Argentino. Desenlace previsible: - Crecientes fracturas internas y luchas sociales; - Deterioro político, económico y social… - Indefensión internacional - Inseguridad interna

  Como se podrá observar, la“profundización del Modelo Kirchner”arrastra a la Argentina hacia nuevas catástrofes como consecuencia de ceder ante las presiones de la banca usurera. Esto es particularmente trágico por cuanto en estos momentos la Argentina debería redoblar su defensa y ataque contra la banca usurera global ya que a partir de la crisis global de 2008, Argentina contaría con el apoyo y simpatía de decenas de países y amplios sectores de opinión pública mundial que hoy comprueban en carne propia que también ellos sufren los MISMOS embates de la banca usurera: L'Italie, Espagne, La Grèce, Portugal, L'Irlande, Islandia, Royaume-Uni, Estados Unidos…

  Por supuesto que toda iniciativa para investigar a fondo la CO-RESPONSABILIDAD de los grandes bancos, del FMI y de las sociedades calificadoras de riesgo en los reiterados y claramente planificados crisis de deuda y colapsos financieros argentinos, no la van a tomar el FMI, Goldman Sachs, el CitiCorp o Standard & Poor.

  Esa iniciativa deberá tomarla un Gobierno Argentino alineado con el Interés Nacional del Pueblo Trabajador Argentino. Clairement, desde hace ya casi cuarenta años ningún gobierno con esas características ha logrado acceder al poder para dirigir los destinos de nuestro país, por más que ello sea el genuino anhelo y deseo de la vasta mayoría silenciosa del Pueblo Trabajador Argentino.

  Como bien lo explica Giuliano, el “Sistema de la Deuda” conforma un poderoso sistema de dominio sobre países y continentes enteros. Hoy ese Sistema se utiliza contra nuestro país como principal instrumento de dominio, control y distorsión de la economía, política y sociedad argentina. Sus actuales ejecutores locales tienen nombre y apellido: el Gobierno Kirchner, la “Oposición” fofa y cobarde de politiqueros, y la gran Prensa Canalla.

  Cristina y el FMI: ¡un solo corazón…!

  En bref, este artículo pretende demostrar que la presidente Cristina Kirchner y su equipo son, en realidad, los mejores “alumnos” y operadores del FMI.

  Si a Christine Lagarde, jefa del FMI, le preguntaran, ¿qué debe hacer la Argentina para volver a ser un “país serio” y “volver a los mercados internacionales de capitales”? Seguramente Christine abriría su recetario y recomendaría hacer exactamente lo mismo que su homónima argentina, Cristina Kirchner, está hoy haciendo:

  • Dólares sólo para la banca usurera global.Prohibir a los argentinos poder comprar divisas por ninguna razón, causa o necesidad. “Todos los dólares de los argentinos deben entregárselos a Goldman Sachs, Citicorp, HSBC, JPMorgan Chase, el FMI y sus socios” en este delito de guantes blanco que hoy llevan a cabo en buena parte del mundo. Puntaje de CFK: 10 puntos.
  • Durísimo Ajuste Fiscal.Imponer al Trabajador Argentino una voracidad fiscal a través de entes devenidos en organizaciones cuasi-delictivas como la AFIP y ARBA que “roban para la corona.” En este caso “la corona” son los megabancos aliados al FMI y la estructura de poder del nuevo orden mundial. Con su lema implícito de“¡Impuesto a las Ganancias para Todos y Todas!", también aquí el puntaje de CFK es: 10 puntos.
  • Reducción de subsidios, ayuda social,jubilaciones y fondos para la salud, educación, seguridad y transportes. Aquí también, el Gobierno K apenas mantiene las dádivas para su “universo de votantes cautivos” entre los sectores más empobrecidos, necesitados y desculturizados. ¡Ni que hablar de lo pobres jubilados a los que Cristina Kirchner les niega el 82% de mínimo que les corresponde por ley! Pauperizar al Pueblo Trabajador Argentino para beneficiar a la banca usurera global. Puntaje de CFK: 10 Puntos.
  • Retraso Cambiario. Mantener el valor del dólar oficial artificialmente barato; no permitir que nadie compre divisas a esa tasa oficial salvo el propio gobierno que compra dólares para…. Une, Une, ya sabemos: para pagar la deuda externa a la banca usurera global. Puntaje de CFK: 10 Puntos.

  Eso sí, mientras que con la mano derecha Cristina roba el producto del trabajador argentino operando como agente de retención de la banca usurera global, con la mano izquierda saluda y vocifera sus discursos zurdosos y seudo-nacionalistas “para la galería” y para confusión y escándalo de tontos y necios.

  El “Modelo K” es, en definitiva, una versión siglo XXI de Estatuto de Coloniaje, tan claramente explicado hace más de medio siglo por Don Arturo Jauretche.

  Como alguna vez dijera ese gran presidente y patriota argentino – tan olvidado por su propio Partido Radical – Don Hipólito Yrigoyen,“No temo tanto a los de afuera que nos quieren comprar, como a los de adentro que nos quieren vender…”

  ([iv]) Los bochornosos espectáculos de los abrazos y besuqueos de los Kirchner con Hebe Bonafini; la banalización de nuestro Himno Nacional vociferado por roqueros drogados, los “shows” del vicepresidente Amado Boudou comportándose como un teen-ager con su guitarrita eléctrica, y la sexagenaria “presidenta” bailando a los saltos en actos públicos, son apenas algunos ejemplos de la decadencia fofa y vergonzosa de nuestros “dirigentes”.

  ([ix]) En effet, existe gran afinidad de intereses entre los Kirchner y los banqueros internacionales, por cuanto los K y sus principales socios son, ellos mismos, multimillonarios. No lo decimos tan sólo por la declaración patrimonial de Cristina Kirchner por más de $ 70.000.000 et 2012, casi imposible de justificar y explicar. Lo decimos principalmente por el caso escandaloso de los Fondos Públicos de la Provincia de Santa Cruz recibidos hace ya casi 20 année, En avril 1993, por el entonces gobernador Néstor Kirchner de manos del presidente Carlos Menem y su ministro de economía Domingo Cavallo, como tributo por haber apoyado fervientemente la privatización de YPF en 1992. Recordemos que en aquél entonces, como presidente de la Organización Federal de Estados Productores de Hidrocarburos (Ofephi) que agrupaba aChubut, Formosa, Jujuy, La Pampa, Mendoza, Neuquén, Salta y Santa Cruz, Néstor Kirchner hizo lobby entre las ocho provincias productoras de petróleo para que apoyaran la privatización de YPF a favor de Repsol a condiciones escandalosas.

  Proyectados a lo largo de 20 année, aquellos originales u$s 654 millones de fondos públicos recibidos por el gobernador Kirchner e inmediatamente fugados a paraísos fiscales en el exterior, hoy darían varios miles de millones de dólares sobre los cuales los Kirchner jamás rindieron cuentas de manera clara, transparente y seria. La conclusión es obvia: los Kirchner se robaron la mayor parte de esos fondos lo que explica sus meteóricas carreras políticas y enorme enriquecimiento personal.

  Informe: ¿Avanza la creación de una ‘Nueva Judea’ en Patagonia?

  Como ya comentamos en RT Español, hay indicios alarmantes de que los Dueños del Poder Mundial, en general, y el sionismo internacional, en particular, están urdiendo una compleja maniobra tendente a erigir un segundo estado judío en la Patagonia argentino-chilena.
  Esta estrategia de larga data hoy se ve potenciada y acelerada debido a la situación insostenible del primer Estado Judío en la Palestina Ocupada. En effet, Israel es un ente geopolítico artificial que sólo puede sostenerse por la violencia y gracias al apoyo incondicional que le brinda Estados Unidos: nación crecientemente idiotizada, desculturizada e, même, narcotizada.

   

  Première, vinieron por la Argentina…

  Los Dueños del Poder Mundial han logrado un control virtualmente total sobre la Patagonia Argentina, no a través de la violencia como en Palestina, sino a través de la imposición de gobiernos decadentes y traidores en la actual Argentina ‘de la democracia’.

  A lo largo de más de treinta años, éstos han desarticulado todo vestigio de defensa territorial. pire, han destruido la educación y la conciencia nacional reemplazando el sano nacionalismo heredado de los Padres de la Patria y de la doctrina de Juan Perón por una subcultura perversa, antinatural, antiestética y mentirosa. En ce sens, podemos decir que la Argentina es una nación derrotada. Y por partida doble.

  Su primera derrota fue militar: en la guerra internacional por las Islas Malvinas disparada en 1982 por una generación de militares y civiles miopes y sin grandeza que cayeron estúpidamente en la trampa urdida por el Reino Unido, Estados Unidos y la OTAN. Resultado: esas potencias hoy mantienen una poderosa base militar nuclear frente a las costas patagónicas, potenciada en 2008 con la reactivación de la Cuarta Flota del Atlántico Sur ordenada por el gobierno de George W Bush.

  Su segunda derrota fue en el plano político y cultural: ante el terrorismo marxista que desató una guerra social y civil en la Argentina durante los años 70 et 80, cuyas dolorosas consecuencias la sociedad argentina sigue sufriendo. Resultado: los guerrilleros y terroristas derrotados en el plano operativo ayer, triunfaron en lo cultural y político y hoy ocupan la Casa Rosada, el Congreso y muchos multimedios en la Argentina. Ejemplos paradigmáticos: Nilda Garré de Abal Medina, alias Comandante Teresa cuando integraba la guerrilla, ocupa el ministerio de defensa y hoy el de seguridad interior bajo los Kirchner; Horacio Verbitzky, ex jefe de inteligencia del grupo terrorista Montoneros hoy dirige el periódico fundamentalista pro-Kirchner ‘Pagina12′.

  Un triste barómetro de la decadencia intelectual y moral que infecta a las otrora poderosas fuerzas armadas argentinas lo comprobamos en la manera en que desde hace treinta años sus jefes militares toleran sumisamente todo tipo de insultos, humillaciones y vejaciones, même, el ser ‘mandados’ por una ‘comandanta’ en jefe bipolar. Sucesivas cúpulas militares han devenido en una corporación floja y amorfa que parece haber olvidado su juramento de defender el territorio nacional ante graves peligros externos e internos que acechan.

  En el caso de la Patagonia Argentina, seguramente veremos a estos ‘jefes’ militares de juguete llorar mañana como mujeres lo que hoy no se atreven a defender como hombres.

  ¡Ahora, Chili!

  Pero los poderes mundialistas y sionistas no operan solamente de un lado de Los Andes en su vocación disociadora e infiltradora. El avance del sionismo internacional que desea ver un segundo estado judío en la Patagonia también lo verificamos en la República de Chile, cuyo presidente Sebastián Piñera nombró en noviembre 2012 a Rodrigo Hinzpeter como ministro de defensa, un hombre íntimamente vinculado al Estado de Israel y participante regular del Comité Judío-Americano. Antes de hacerse cargo de esta importantísima cartera, Hinzpeter se desempeñaba varios años como ministro del interior.

  En un amplio informe del periódico chileno ‘El Ciudadano’ la dupla Piñera-Hinzpeter pretende redimensionar la defensa chilena para que “se cuadre con la tríada Estados Unidos-Colombia-Israel”, ajoutant “todo apunta a que Hintzpeter mantendrá una doctrina de defensa y política militar semejantes a la de Colombia, y alineará a Chile con los objetivos del Comando Sur de los Estados Unidos establecidos para la base que construyeron en Concón”. A pesar de estar formalmente asignada a “tareas de Fuerzas de Paz de Naciones Unidas”, la dependencia de mando y operación responde al Comando Sur del Ejército de Estados Unidos.

  Hinzpeter y Piñera parecen coincidir en apoyar la política de ‘defensa’ que desean imponer los Dueños del Poder Mundial, por cuanto en la base militar de Concón ya existe un comando de Operaciones Militares en Territorios Urbanos.

  Sûrement, se avanzará en el plan de reorientar a las fuerzas armadas chilenas a “combatir la insurgencia, la delincuencia y el narcotráfico”, igual que en México y Colombia. Alors, unas fuerzas armadas con funciones ya no de defensa territorial ante amenazas extra-continentales, sino de seguridad y control policial interno. Si, a futuro podrán operar como controladores de la población local, alineadas a los objetivos e intereses financieros, économique, políticos y sociales del venidero Gobierno Mundial.

  Agrega este informe que “todo indicaría que de la mano del presidente Piñera, Hinzpeter hará todo lo posible por impulsar la denominada ‘Primera Estrategia Nacional de Seguridad y Defensa’” que, en concreto, abre la puerta a que las fuerzas armadas chilenas participen en operaciones de represión de sus ciudadanos dentro del territorio nacional, con la excusa de “combatir a la delincuencia en sus distintas expresiones”.

  Cuando Sebastian Piñera asumió como presidente de Chile en 2011, la Agencia Judía de Noticias tituló esta noticia señalando que “un judío será el próximo ministro del interior y jefe de gabinete del presidente electo Piñera”. Clairement, en la Embajada de Israel en Santiago, en Tel Aviv y entre las poderosas organizaciones sionistas y judías el encumbramiento de Hinzpeter en el gobierno de Chile no pasó desapercibido.

  Continúa este informe señalando que “diversos medios destacaron que el hoy titular de la cartera de defensa es muy cercano al American Jewish Committee (Comité Judío Americano), poderoso grupo de presión sionista en Estados Unidos y América Latina, que opera mancomunadamente dentro de una nutrida red de grupos de presión y poder sionistas pro-Israel en la región y en el mundo entero.

  Se señala también que en marzo de 2011, mientras el presidente Piñera se encontraba de gira por Medio Oriente, una delegación del Comité Judío-Americano conformada por 18 miembros fue recibida silenciosamente en el Palacio de la Moneda en Santiago por el ministro Hinzpeter y los embajadores de Estados Unidos, Inglaterra e Israel. Dicha visita se extendió por tres días, pero la prensa nacional mantuvo ‘discreto silencio’ sobre la misma, sobre qué se discutió, quiénes asistieron y a qué acuerdos llegaron.

  Ya en 2006 Hinzpeter había participado en un congreso de comunidades judías latinoamericanas organizado por el Comité Judío-Americano en Miami. La declaración final indicada en el sitio del Comité afirma que los representantes de las diversas comunidades involucradas “ratifican su solidaridad con el Estado de Israel en su legitimidad histórica”. Escribiendo en el boletín ‘Palabra Israelita’, el dirigente derechista de la comunidad judía chilena, Gabriel Zaliasnik, aseveró que el ministro de defensa es de “las personas con inclinaciones políticas y con interés de que la causa de Israel” sea apoyada. El parlamentario chileno Eugenio Tuma, en cambio, manifestó que Hinzpeter “es un militante de la causa israelí”.

  Le 5 Novembre 2012, ‘El Ciudadano’ publicó un cartel que afirmaba que Rodrigo Hinzpeter había hecho el servicio militar en Israel, señalando lo inconveniente de que alguien con esos supuestos antecedentes asumiera la jefatura del ministerio de defensa chileno, lo que disparó la ira de la comunidad judía de Chile. Pareciera que Hintzpeter “fue a Israel a hacer su servicio militar al terminar su enseñanza media, el que normalmente dura dos años, y tres para los que siguen su formación en el aparato de Inteligencia del Mossad”. Quelle que soit, Hinzpeter jamás aclaró a qué fue a Israel, si en efecto hizo el servicio militar o si recibió algún tipo de instrucción armada en ese país, y tampoco ha negado que mantenga vínculos con el Mossad, el servicio de inteligencia israelí.

  Como señala el analista geopolítico argentino Leopoldo Markus, “los peligros actuales de las fuerzas armadas y el Estado chileno, tanto de la designación de Hinzpeter como de la doctrina oficial de aquellas, es que resulta funcional a los intereses del Comando Sur de los EE.UU. y de Israel. Más allá de los argumentos justificatorios de la intervención interna de las fuerzas armadas chilenas en la lucha contra el narcotráfico y el crimen organizado, ello encubre el objetivo de que se hallen preparadas para reprimir posibles futuros alzamientos de la población chilena”.

  Markus agrega que, incluso unas bien entrenadas, equipadas y “reorientadas” fuerzas militares chilenas estarían siempre listas para cumplir el rol de fuerza de intervención rápida contra Argentina, Bolivia o Perú en caso de producirse revoluciones nacionales o populares que enfrenten al imperialismo y a sus agentes nativos.

  Apuntando a la Patagonia

  En lo atinente a la Patagonia argentina, esta hipótesis no es para nada descabellada, considerando la vil política ‘desmalvinizadora’ y de desarme unilateral que, bajo presión angloestadounidense, vienen impulsando sistemáticamente sucesivos gobiernos de la Argentina ‘de la democracia’: desde Alfonsín y Menem, hasta el Matrimonio Kirchner.

  La Armada Argentina es hoy obsolescente por falta de renovación de material, mantenimiento, combustible y repuestos, facilitando así la depredación pesquera ilegal y el robo descarado del petróleo argentino en el Mar Argentino desde la base inglesa ‘Fortaleza Falklands’. Similarmente, la Fuerza Aérea Argentina apenas puede volar con sus unidades vetustas carentes de mantenimiento y combustible. Ni siquiera se repusieron las aeronaves de combate perdidas en la heroica gesta librada contra Inglaterra durante la Guerra de Malvinas de 1982.

  Peor aún es la situación del Ejército Argentino, desarmado casi totalmente y sobre cuyos oficiales pesa la mayor carga revanchista de los guerrilleros de ayer que hoy usurpan el poder en ese país.

  Dentro de esta amplia estrategia de indefensión nacional, al abandono unilateral de los programas argentinos nuclear, misilístico y aeronáutico -entregados cobarde y traidoramente al enemigo angloestadounidense por Alfonsín y durante la Década Infame del gobierno de Carlos Menem- se suma la retirada argentina de la Antártida, la destrucción del rompehielos Almirante Irizar, y la deshonra cobarde de la fragata-escuela Libertad de la Armada a manos del fondo buitre del sionista pro-gay Paul Singer, gracias a la impericia e irresponsabilidad del gobierno Kirchner en el manejo la deuda externa.

  En bref, la incursión de Rodrigo Hinzpeter en el ministerio de defensa chileno indica que EE.UU. e Israel potencian su intervención decisiva en la formulación de políticas tendientes a ‘asegurar el orden’ del pueblo chileno ante la creciente consolidación de la presencia sionista en toda la Patagonia. A la Argentina ya la tienen íntegramente bajo su control; ahora llegó el momento de ‘apretarle las tuercas’ a Chile.

  ‘Human Price’ in the Capitalist Equation (Op-Ed)

  The human price of a recent fire at a Bangladeshi factory was over a hundred lives, reminding the world that for “western free-market democracy,” the words “human price” have another, very direct meaning.

  ­On November 24, a horrific flash fire broke out in a 9-floor sweatshop in Dakha, Bangladesh, belonging to Tazreen Fashions Ltd., killing 117 and injuring 200 of its 1600 workers manufacturing garments for prestigious global brands like Wal-Mart, c&Un, Sears and others. This tragedy shows yet again just how much multinational companies profit from the Third World’s quasi-slave labor exploitation system, marked by a total disdain for human life, dignity and justice.

  But Tazreen was just the first link in the global supply chain delivering clothes “Made in Bangladesh” to stores in Europe and the US. Clairement, the factory was not a safe place to work and its fire safety readiness was appalling. The fire broke out in mounds of highly flammable yarn and fabric illegally stored on the ground floor near electrical generators.

  Once the fire was put out, capitalist profit greed carried on in its “business-as-usual” mode. You see, Bangladesh has grown to become the world’s second largest apparel exporter after China, which is no longer the cheapest place to manufacture. Many of the Tazreen factory’s victims were rural young women earning as little as $ 45 a month in what has become a 19 billion dollar export industry for the impoverished country. Bangladesh dubiously ranks as global leader in paying its garment workers the very lowest wages in the world.

  In an article published on December 7, The New York Times newspaper reported that the dead workers show a “glaring disconnect among global clothing brands, the monitoring system used to protect workers and the factories actually filling the orders. After the fire, Wal-Mart, Sears and other retailers made the same startling admission: They say they did not know that Tazreen Fashions was making their clothing."

  "We didn’t know!", is certainly a line that rings a bell…

  The truth is that the long chain running from the sweatshops of Dahka to C&A and Sears outlet stores in the US and European cities has many, many links; more than just a supply-chain, it often looks like a Gordian Knot.

  The many middle-men, contractors, sub-contractors, distributors, suppliers, outsourcers and sub-outsourcers serve many purposes. Some are financial, such as using dirt cheap slave labour countries. Others are legal, to ensure that reasonable safety buffers are always in place between C&A’s and Wal-Mart’s top-brass and corporate legal liability at one end of that chain, and some 19 year old working woman whose life was just snuffed out in a blaze in cheery Bangladesh, at the other end.

  If anybody will finally be made “responsible”, it’ll surely be some scapegoat middle-man five, maybe ten, links down the supply-and-demand chain, as far away from C&A’s and Wal-Mart’s and Sears’ sensitivities as possible.

  The New York Times adds, "Big brands demand that factories be inspected by accredited auditing firms so that the brands can control quality… Tazreen Fashions was one of many clothing factories that exist on the margins of this system. Factory bosses had been faulted for violations during inspections conducted on behalf of Wal-Mart… Yet Tazreen Fashions received orders anyway, slipping through the gaps in the system by delivering the low costs and quick turnarounds that buyers and consumers demand. c&Un, the European retailer, has confirmed ordering 220,000 sweaters from the factory. But much of the factory’s business came through opaque networks of subcontracts with suppliers or local buying houses."

  They also quote Richard M. Locke, deputy dean of M.I.T.’s Sloan School of Management saying, "We as consumers like to be able to buy ever-greater quantities of ever-cheaper goods, every year… Somebody is bearing the cost of it, and we don’t want to know about it. The people bearing the cost were in this fire.” Not great comfort for the dead workers’ families, I suppose… But it is a revealing definition that exploitation, not democracy; that greed, not human rights is what really drives “Western free-market democracy”.

  The Human Price

  It’s when catastrophes like these occur that the masks of Greed Capitalism fall and its multiple ugly Medusa-like heads stare threateningly at the whole world. The same thing happened in 1984 with the chemical mass poisoning by Union Carbide’s Bhopal plant in India.

  naturellement, the global media help with the Corporate Over-world’s damage control with the usual “What a tragedy!", “Oh, the humanity!", and “Why didn’t anybody prevent this?” type commentary for the requisite number of days, shedding an alligator’s tear or two. cependant, they know – we all know – what the truth really is.

  Because these dreadful events happen in far-off lands like Bangladesh and India, and since inhuman sweatshop conditions are the norm in “underdeveloped markets” like Mexico, Afrique, India and South East Asia, it doesn’t really mean much to the West. Sure, the workers who are its victims have little or no legal or social security protection, les fonds de pension, workers compensation insurance, health benefits or employer liability insurance protecting them. But then again, they are swarthy folk with impossible to pronounce names living in those ghastly lands.

  They’re all on their own, because they are “owned” by a Behemoth “labour market” that calls the shots, all in the name of “supply-and-demand.” That same market awards a C&A CEO or Goldman Sachs trader or Wal-Mart shareholder tens, even hundreds of millions of dollars in dividends, bonuses and salaries at the top end of the chain, then gets away with paying hundreds of millions of super-poor workers $45, maybe $50 a month as “salary”.

  Interestingly, the Times’ article carried as a subtitle, “The Human Price” which, more than they can imagine, can actually help put things in their proper perspective.

  Perhaps the western media should start quoting “The Human Price” in nitty-gritty real numbers, just as they quote the New York, London and Frankfurt stock exchanges, or the cost of a barrel of Brent oil, or gold and silver prices. Conceptually, the closest applicable metric to measure “The Human Price” are the Foreign Exchange markets quoting national currencies.

  So here’s an idea: just as every day CNN, Bloomberg, Fox, BBC and all the western global mainstream media hammer into our brains how many Euros, Yens, Mexican Pesos or Indian Pounds it takes to buy One US Dollar and vice versa, wouldn’t it help promote a more honest view of “capitalist democracy” if they began quoting the ”exchange rates” in the “Human Market”?

  Just how much are the citizens of different countries and regions really worth from the viewpoint of Greed Capitalism’s Weltanschauung – its world view, so to speak?

  par exemple, we all know quite well that “a US Citizen” has one of the very highest values of all of the world’s citizens; that the United States stands ever ready to invade entire countries “to protect American citizens.” British, European Union and Israeli citizens are also “HVH’s” (High Value Humans).

  Maintenant, let’s be honest. Most Western countries’ constitutions poetically state that “all men are created equal”, and have certain “inalienable rights”, etc., etc., which may look nice on paper… but when reality hits, things look mighty different!

  SO, let’s begin with the Value of ‘One US Citizen’ and then work our way through the values of citizens of our planet’s one hundred and ninety odd nations, to see what “rates of exchange” we get. Let’s try out a few:

  One US Citizen = 2 Brits; OU 4 Canadians (sounds just about right);
  One US Citizen = 10 Germans (Yep! Germany lost the War);
  One US Citizen = 100 Egyptians; OU 1,000 Mexicans; OU 10,000 Iraqis, or God only knows how many Libyans, Syrians or Iranians (hundreds of thousands, surely!)

  Such a rating scale could go up or down depending on how angry the White House, Congress and AIPAC are on a particular day.

  Then there would be: One Israeli Citizen or, better still, “One US-Israeli Dual Nationality Bi-Citizen” would probably be worth 10 or more US Citizens.

  On “The Human Price” scale, Israeli’s are tops! They are Gold; Platinum, même.

  Israelis have the absolutely highest value of them all. Maybe that’s because of “supply-and-demand”; I mean there are less than 7 million Israelis out of a total global population of 7 milliard; that’s 0.01per cent of mankind!

  In numbers they are so, so very scarce that one would expect to never ever even hear about Israel and the Israelis, et pourtant ...

  Sorry, Americans: you guys are definitely NOT tops…

  One Israeli = 10 Americans at least…

  The point is that under US/UK/Israeli “Corporate democracy”, “all men are equal” but – as George Orwell aptly observed in “Animal Farm” – “some men are much more equal than others…”.

  So try asking C&Un, Wal-Mart, Sears how much a Bangladeshi rural young woman working 12-hour-a-day-7-days-a-week shifts to meet those huge garment orders is worth. The obvious reply will be: 45 bucks a month, take it or leave it! pourquoi, that’s about 1% of what she’d be “worth” if she were working in New York, Chicago or London!

  One final rather sobering thought just went through my mind: can any of you RT readers imagine what the “Rate of Exchange” would be between One Israeli Citizen and One Palestinian “Non-Member, Observer Non-State” Living Entity? Oh dear, my calculator just went dead…!

  Judíos del mundo: ¡Uníos! (contra el fundamentalismo israelí…)

  Desde fines de la segunda guerra mundial, los judíos han disfrutado de creciente poder, influencia, riqueza y bienestar en todo Occidente, especialmente en los Estados Unidos.  Dado el sufrimiento padecido por los judíos de Europa durante aquella guerra, hoy se les trata con especial cuidado y consideración en todo el mundo. Ello les permitió realizar su sueño de fundar un Estado soberano en Palestina, haciendo caso omiso de la enorme injusticia impuesta a los palestinos.

  El sistemático horroroso comportamiento israelí, cependant, ha puesto en peligro esta “categoría especial” de la que viene disfrutando.

  Se acercan los tiempos en los que la Diáspora judía en todo el mundo y los israelíes tendrán que tomar una decisión: o se alinean rigurosamente detrás de la derecha israelí– y se preparan para caer con Israel –, o se alinean con las naciones en las que viven y continúan disfrutando del tratamiento justo que esas naciones dispensan a su ciudadanía decente.

  El grito histérico de “¡Antisemitismo!” que suelen lanzar los multimedios de prensa globales y las entidades de choque sionistas como la ADL –Liga Antidifamación– y AIPAC en EE.UU., o la DAIA y AMIA en la Argentina, ya no van más.

  Hoy todo el mundo mira horrorizado y con asco la manera en que los israelíes asesinan, hieren y humillan a la población civil en Gaza; Aujourd'hui, igual que en enero 2009; igual que en el Líbano en 2006; igual que como viene haciendo desde los años cuarenta.

  Siempre protegido por EE.UU., el Reino Unido y Europa –especialmente la autoflagelante y acomplejada Alemania– Israel, como el proverbial niño malcriado, cree que puede hacer lo que quiere, cuando quiere, donde quiere y contra quienes quiera. et, si alguien se queja, al niño malcriado israelí le agarra un ataque de rabia y grita “¡le voy a contar a mi hermano mayor!". El Gran Hermano USA, se entiende…

  Eso es exactamente lo que hace Israel, sabiendo que una y otra vez el Gran Hermano Homero Simpson de Washington está listo para darle una paliza a cualquiera que se atreva a tocar a la ‘pequeña Israel’: sea Irak, La Syrie, Libye, Afganistán, Iran…

  Bueno… todo esto está por acabarse. De manera que cada ciudadano judío decente en todos los países del mundo debiera poner las barbas en remojo: ¡aléjense todo lo que puedan de la locura que hoy afecta a Israel!

   

  ¿Ha llegado nuestra fecha de vencimiento?

  Este es el título de un artículo publicado en el diario israelí Haaretz le passé 9 de octubre, citando palabras del ex secretario de Estado de EE.UU., Le New York Post dijo: “Palabra por palabra: dentro de diez años ya no habrá más Israel”.

  A lo que Haaretz agrega, “¡Qué tontería! ¿no? Claramente Israel sobrevivirá para siempre.  Primero, porque eso es lo que dicen nuestros líderes.  Segundo, porque disponemos de un gran ejército, bombas inteligentes, una economía estable y alta tecnología.  Tercero, porque Dios está con nosotros.  Estos son hechos”   Hmmm…. Los primeros dos definitivamente son hechos.  El tercero, cependant, es sumamente debatible…

  En ce sens, le passé 28 de agosto el periódico estadounidense Foreign Policy Journal se refirió a un análisis de 82 páginas de extensión titulado ‘Preparándonos para un Medio Oriente Pos-Israel’, que fuera comisionado por las 16 agencias de inteligencia de los Estados Unidos pertenecientes a la Armada, Ejército, Fuerza Aérea, Cuerpo de Marina, Guardacostas, Agencia de Inteligencia para la Defensa, los Departamentos de Energía, Seguridad Doméstica, Estado, Tesoro, la DEA, el FBI, la NSA, las agencias Geoespacial y de Reconocimiento, y la CIA.

  Algunos dudan de la autenticidad de este documento confidencial, mas sus conclusiones según publica Foreign Policy Journal parecen muy creíbles a la luz de informes anteriores confeccionados por académicos de alto nivel como Stephen Walt (Universidad de Harvard), John Mearsheimer (Universidad de Chicago), el ex presidente Jimmy Carter y su asesor de seguridad nacional Zbigniew Brzezinski. Algunas de sus observaciones son:

  • “En vista de la ocupación brutal y las políticas beligerantes que lleva adelante, Israel es hoy tan imposible de salvar como lo fue Sudáfrica bajo el Apartheid, especialmente considerando que aún en 1987 Israel era la única nación de “Occidente” que mantenía relaciones diplomáticas con Sudáfrica, siendo el último país en unirse al boicot internacional antes que ese régimen racista colapsara;
  • Con su creciente apoyo a los 700.000 colonos ilegales en el margen occidental ocupado, la conducción israelí está crecientemente fuera de contacto con la realidad política, militar y económica de Oriente Medio;
  • El Gobierno pos-laborismo conformado por la coalición del Likud se encuentra profundamente comprometido e influido por el poder político y financiero de esos colonos, y se enfrenta a convulsiones internas crecientemente virulentas, con las que el Gobierno estadounidense no debiera verse asociado ni involucrado;
  • La burda interferencia de Israel en los asuntos internos de los Estados Unidos a través de resonantes casos de espionaje y transferencia ilegal de armas estadounidenses que incluye su apoyo a 60 organizaciones de fachada y a aproximadamente 7.500 funcionarios estadounidenses que trabajan para promover los intereses de Israel, procurando dominar e intimidar a los medios y agencias del Gobierno de los EE.UU., lo que resulta inaceptable;
  • La infraestructura de ocupación segregacionista de Israel se ve evidenciada por la discriminación legalizada y los sistemas de justicia crecientemente arbitrarios e inicuos, no debe seguir siendo financiada ni directa ni indirectamente por el contribuyente norteamericano, ni ignorado por el Gobierno de EE.UU.;
  • Israel ha fracasado como Estado democrático, y la continuada cobertura financiera y política que le otorga EE.UU. no cambiará su creciente transformación en un Estado paria internacional;
  • Se observa creciente racismo rampante y violento entre los colonos judíos del margen occidental, que es tolerado por el Gobierno israelí hasta tal grado que el mismo se ha transformado en su protector y socio;
  • La creciente brecha entre judíos norteamericanos que objetan las practicas sionistas e israelíes que incluyen el asesinato y un trato brutal contra los palestinos bajo la ocupación israelí, conforman burdas violaciones de leyes norteamericanas e internacionales. Ello se transforma en un creciente debate dentro de la comunidad judía respecto de la responsabilidad de EE.UU. de proteger a toda población civil en cualquier país ocupado (la así llamada “Política R2P”);
  • La oposición internacional a este régimen de creciente apartheid no puede ya seguir sincronizándose con los valores humanitarios que EE.UU. declama mantener, ni con las expectativas de EE.UU. en sus relaciones bilaterales con los 193 miembros de la Organización de Naciones Unidas;"

  Pareciera, Ensuite,, que todas las ventanas de oportunidad se van cerrando rápidamente para la elite de poder de ultraderecha que hoy manda en Israel.

  La sangría horrorosa que Israel ha lanzado contra Palestina bien podría conformar la primera movida estratégica israelí en el Gran Tablero de Oriente Medio, orientada a aumentar las convulsiones regionales que ellos esperan arrastrarán a Estados Unidos y la OTAN a invadir Siria y, Ensuite,, preparará el camino para el tan anhelado ataque militar unilateral contra Irán. En tal caso la apuesta es infinitamente más alta y peligrosa pues el desenlace bien podría ser una guerra nuclear de proporciones inimaginables.

   

  O están con nosotros o están en contra de nosotros…

  Ese y no otro es el mensaje de Tel-Aviv a todo el mundo, y a todos los judíos del mundo, recordando el tono pendenciero de ‘Baby Bush’.

  Es aquí donde yace un tema fundamental y vital para todas las comunidades judías del mundo, incluida la numerosa comunidad judía en la Argentina.

  El mundo se va hartando crecientemente de Israel y la cobertura mediática orwelliana absolutamente tendenciosa de los multimedios de difusión occidentales, que incluye los multimedios argentinos, solo parecen echarle nafta a las llamaradas de esta confusión programada.

  Crecientemente, el apoyo a Israel se basa menos y menos sobre datos, hechos y evidencias, y más y más sobre la irracionalidad y la repetición ‘ad nauseam’ de los sufrimientos judíos del pasado. La “lógica” israelí, Ensuite,, es como sigue: dado que los judíos de Europa sufrieron a manos de europeos hace setenta años, esto nos da hoy el derecho a asesinar y atormentar a los palestinos, robándoles su territorio nacional.

  Toda crítica a Israel es inmediatamente calificada como “¡Antisemitismo!” y todas las matanzas genocidas perpetradas por la ultraderecha israelí se hacen “para proteger a, y en nombre de, todos los judíos del mundo”. Pero la verdad está saliendo a la luz del día.

  Hoy disponemos de grandes canales de noticias con una visión alternativa que nos brindan una explicación mucho más equilibrada acerca de este y otros temas. No sorprenderá entonces que en estos días Israel lanzara dos ataques contra los estudios en Gaza del canal iraní de noticias en inglés PressTV, hiriendo a personal y periodistas.

  Se acerca el día en el que las personas decentes en todas partes empezarán a reaccionar contra esta locura israelí. et, como tristemente suele ocurrir, se corre el riesgo de que las consecuencias las terminen pagando justos por pecadores.

  En la práctica, las comunidades locales de judíos de la Diáspora están siendo colocadas en situación de gran peligro por la actual dirigencia israelí en conjunción con los multimedios internacionales y sus repetidores locales como ‘Clairon’ et ‘La Nation’ en la Argentina, que promueven la desinformación y las distorsiones en este tema tan fundamental para la paz mundial.

  Un gran luchador por los derechos civiles de la población negra en EE.UU., Malcolm X, alguna vez dijo: “Si no te mantienes alerta, los diarios harán que termines odiando a las personas que están siendo oprimidas; y amando a las personas que las están oprimiendo”.

  De manera que cada ciudadano judío en todas partes del mundo debe asumir una responsabilidad personal: o apoya activamente a Israel, con lo que tendrán que soportar las consecuencias que van surgiendo de ello, o deberán rechazar activamente esta locura de la dirigencia fundamentalista israelí y, como ciudadanos decentes, civilizados y pacíficos de sus respectivos países, dejar perfectamente en claro a través de sus organizaciones comunitarias – como la DAIA y la AMIA en Argentina - que À apoyan a un Israel que hoy administra en Gaza el mayor campo de concentración del mundo entero: un oprobioso “Auschwitz en Oriente Medio".

  le passé 24 de septiembre, el diario estadounidense The Washington Post citó al presidente iraní Mahmud Ahmadineyad quien dijo que “Israel presiona a EE.UU. con la supuesta amenaza de que Irán desarrolla un arma nuclear, lo que conlleva la posibilidad de un ataque militar israelí contra Irán, para así torcerle el brazo a su mucho más poderoso aliado”. Pensándolo bien: muy probablemente Ahmadineyad no esté errado.

  El tiempo se está acabando. Las máscaras están cayendo rápidamente, y los verdaderos rostros que esconden están asomando a la luz del día. Si se ha de evitar una nueva guerra mundial, todos los ciudadanos responsables en todo el mundo deberán adoptar una posición clara y tajante en estos temas cruciales. Las comunidades judías no son una excepción a ello.

  Jews of the World: Unite! (Against Israeli Fundamentalists…)

  Since the end of World War Two, Jews have enjoyed increasing power, leverage, wealth, prestige and well-being throughout the West, especially in the US.

  Because of their sufferings in Europe during that War, they are treated with special care and consideration throughout the world, which allowed them to make their dream of having a sovereign State in Palestine, irrespective of the gross injustice that was imposed on the Palestinians.

  Israel’s horrific behavior, cependant, has put its “special status” on the line. 

  The time is fast approaching for the world’s Diaspora Jews and for Israelis, to make a decision: they either staunchly align behind Israel – and thus prepare to fall with Israel -, or they align themselves with the nations in which they live and enjoy the just treatment meted out to all those countries’ decent citizens.

  The cry of “Anti-Semitism!" launched by the Global Mainstream Media and Zionist storm-trooper entities like the ADL- Anti Defamation League – and AIPAC, is no longer sticking.

  The world looks on aghast with shock and disgust as Israel systematically and periodically kills, maims and humiliates innocent civilians in Gaza; today as it did in January 2009, as it did in Lebanon in 2006, as it has done since the late forties.

  Always pampered by the US, the UK and Europe – especially self-hating and self-effacing Germany –, Israel like the proverbial spoiled brat can do what it likes, when it likes, where it likes and if anybody complains they just go into a temper tantrum and yell back “I’m gonna tell my big brother”.  Big Brother USA, that is…

  et, boy oh boy, do they do that!  Time and again, in comes big brother Homer Simpson from Washington ready to beat up anyone who dares touch “little Israel”: whether it’s Iraq, La Syrie, Libye, L'Afghanistan, Iran….

  Well… all of that is about to end.

  SO, all decent Jewish citizens in every country in the world should take a clue: go as far away as you can from Israel’s madness.

  Has our Expiration date arrived?

  This is the title of an article appearing in the Israeli newspaper Haarezt  on 9^e Octobre 2012, in which it quotes Former U.S. Secretary of State Henry Kissinger who according to pro-Israeli New York Post said, “word for word: dans 10 years there will be no more Israel”.

  Haaretz then adds, “What foolishness, right? Clairement, Israel will survive forever. First of all, because that is what our leaders say. Second, we have a fine army, smart bombs, a stable economy and high tech, too. And third, because God is with us. These are facts.”   Hmmm…. The first two are definitely facts.  No sure about the third, though…

  In this respect, sur 28^e August the US publication Foreign Policy Journal refers to an 82-page analysis entitled “Preparing for a Post-Israel Middle East”, commissioned by the US’s 16 intelligence agencies: Navy, Army, Air Force, Marine Corps, Coast Guard, Defense Intelligence Agency, Departments of Energy, Homeland Security, State, Treasury, DEA, FBI, NSA, National Geospatial, National Reconnaissance and CIA.

  Some doubts have been expressed as to whether this confidential document is genuine; its conclusions as published by Foreign Policy Journal, cependant, seem certainly credible and echo previous reports by top-level academics like Stephen Walt (Harvard U.), John Mearsheimer (Chicago U.), former president Jimmy Carter and his National Security Advisor Zbigniew Brzezinkski, when it says:

  • "Israël, given its current brutal occupation and belligerence cannot be salvaged any more than apartheid South Africa could be when as late as 1987 Israel was the only “Western” nation that upheld diplomatic ties with South Africa and was the last country to join the international boycott campaign before the regime collapsed;
  • The Israel leadership, with its increasing support of the 700,000 settlers in illegal colonies in the occupied West Bank is increasingly out of touch with the political, military and economic realities of the Middle East;
  • The post-Labor government Likud coalition is deeply complicit with and influenced by the settlers’ political and financial power, and will increasingly face domestic civil strife which the US government should not associate itself with or become involved with;
  • Gross Israeli interference in the internal affairs of the United States through spying and illegal US arms transfers. This includes supporting more than 60 ‘front organizations’ and  approximately 7,500 US officials who do Israel’s bidding and seek to dominate and intimidate the media and agencies of  the US government which should no longer be condoned;
  • Israel’s segregationist occupation infrastructure evidenced by  legalized discrimination and increasingly separate and unequal justice systems must no longer be directly or indirectly funded by the US taxpayer or ignored by the US government;
  • Israel has failed as a claimed democratic state and continued American financial and political cover will not change its continuing devolution as international pariah state;
  • De plus en plus, rampant and violent racism exhibited among Jewish settlers in the West Bank is being condoned by the Israeli government to a degree that the Israel’s government has become its protector and partner;
  • The expanding chasm among American Jews objecting to Zionism and Israeli practices, including the killing and brutalizing of Palestinians under Israeli occupation,  are gross violations of American and International law and raise questions within the US Jewish community regarding the American responsibility to protect (R2P) innocent civilians under occupation;
  • The international opposition to the increasingly apartheid regime can no longer be synchronized with American claimed  humanitarian values or US expectations in its bi-lateral relations with the 193 member United Nations;"

  It seems all windows of opportunity are closing fast for Israel’s ultra right-wing power elite.  The horrendous carnage taking place in Palestine right now might very well be Israel’s first move on the Middle Eastern Grand Chessboard, aimed at increasing regional turmoil that will (they hope) drag the US and NATO into Syria and further afield prepare the way for unilateral attack on Iran.  And there the stakes are extremely high and dangerous because nuclear war could very well be the end-result.

   

  You’re either with us or against us.

  That’s Tel-Aviv’s message to the world and to all Jews around the world, again echoing Baby Bush’s warmongering tone.

  And here lies a vital issue for the international Jewish community.

  The world has grown increasingly weary with Israel and the West’s Orwellian lob-sided global media reporting only adds fuel to the confusion.

  Strong support of Israel is based less and less on facts and evidence, more and more, on irrationality and permanent harping on Jewish suffering in the past.

  Israeli “logic” runs like this:  Since our European Jewish  forefathers suffered at the hands of Europeans seventy years ago, that give us today  every right to beat up the Palestinians and steal their territory.

  Any criticism of Israel is immediately branded as “Anti-Semitism”, and all genocidal killing by Israel’s ultra-right is done “to protect and on behalf of all Jews everywhere”.

  More and more the truth is coming out.  Today we have growing alternative media outlets that are delivering giving a much more balanced explanation to the world.

  No wonder in recent days, on-going Israeli bombings over Gaza have twice targeted the Iranian English-language 24 hour news channel PressTV injuring staff and journalists!

  The day is drawing nigh when decent people everywhere will start reacting against Israel’s madness.  And, as happens all too often, less well-informed people will be tempted to – Alas! – take it out on whoever is closest, which means that local Diaspora Jewish populations are being put in harm’s way by Israel’s leadership and an accommodating Western Media nurturing misinformation and distortions.

  As US civil rights militant Malcolm X once famously said, “If you’re not careful, the newspapers will have you hating the people who are being oppressed, and loving the people who are doing the oppressing”.

  SO, every Jewish citizen everywhere needs to take a stance: either they actively support Israel and will thus have to bear the consequences that may arise from that, or they actively reject Israeli madness and, as decent, civilized and peaceful citizens in the respective countries they reside in, make it crystal clear through their community organizations that they do not support an Israel that manages in Gaza the world’s largest concentration camp: a veritable “Auschwitz in the Middle East”.

  sur 24^e Septembre, The Washington Post quoted Iranian president Mahmud Ahmadinejad as saying that “Israel is bullying the US over the alleged threat of an Iranian nuclear weapon using the prospect of an Israeli military attack on Iran to force the hand of its much larger ally”.   Look again: he just might be telling the truth.

  Time is running out.  Masks are falling fast, and the real faces behind them are coming to light.  If a new world war is to be averted, all responsible citizens in every country must take a stance.
